GLOBE LIFE FIELD RANGERS STADIUM
Arlington, TX | 1,800,000 Sq. Ft. | $1.25 billion | New Construction

Our team was selected by the Rangers Stadium Corporation to work on this exciting new project that will serve as the home of the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball.  We provided MEP Commissioning and HVAC Test & Balance for this significant landmark project.

As part of the project, we performed Commissioning and HVAC Test & Balance of the Field’s Central Plant, which consisted of two 6-cell cooling towers, four chillers, four chilled water pumps, and six condenser water pumps.

This project was a massive undertaking.  The facility included corporate office space of 40,000 SF and 102 private suites as well as 108 food concessions and prep stations and kitchens.  It also included a 5.5 acre retractable roof with a total of five roof trusses and a seating capacity of approximately 40,000.

The General Contractor was Manhattan Construction Company.  The architect was HKS Sports, the Mechanical Engineer was ME Engineers and the Mechanical Contractor was TD Industries.

This project was highly time critical as the first exhibition game had already been announced for March 23, 2020 prior to the start of construction. The first game was postponed when the Coronavirus pandemic delayed the start of the Major League Baseball season. The stadium hosted its first games in July 2020 and was home to the 116th edition of the World Series.
