As the owner and managing member of LCCx, LLC, Mr. Lackey has served as Principal-In-Charge on all related projects for nearly ten years. He has extensive experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare and government projects. Along with an extensive background in MEP and Commissioning Systems, he is skilled in design, estimating, scheduling and budgeting for construction management. Mike has developed a reputation of listening carefully when clients discuss objectives, constraints, scheduling, and other considerations so that he can respond with sound solutions that reflect the clients’ needs.

Mechanical Engineer, Building Energy & Commissioning Specialist
Chris began his career in energy engineering over 30 years ago in the utility energy consulting sector with a passion for energy systems analysis focused on innovative solutions for energy efficiency. Chris has helped develop and implement energy efficiency surveys, programs and processes for all building sectors, residential to industrial. These include Demand Response programs for numerous utility grids, large scale Measurement and Verification and energy data analysis platforms; energy audit processes/programs for utility and commercial clients; and the development of numerous business process, training, hardware, and software platform solutions to support these efforts. Chris has been an invaluable Project Manager who has been instrumental in managing TAB and commissioning projects, providing accurate energy audits and producing reliable engineering analyses for both commercial and industrial clients. Chris continues to be committed to building teamwork among clients, engineers, architects and builders. He has helped LCCx develop a strong client following since joining the firm.

Marisa Bernal, PE, ACP, OSHA
Director of Commissioning & Project Manager
Mrs. Bernal is a Professional Engineer with a Master’s degree in renewable and clean energy. She brings over six years of experience to the team, contributing to design-build projects, facility assessment surveys, and energy audits with substantial working knowledge of construction practices, codes, and safety standards. Marisa has a strong background determining material & work quantity requirements and has proven to be an excellent communicator, appreciated by vendors and contractors alike.
