LCCx was the Commissioning Authority that provided commissioning for this project that received LEED Gold certification on the $5M, 20,000 SF new car dealership and shop building located in northwest San Antonio along IH-10. As the commissioning agent, LCCx was responsible for LEED fundamental and enhanced commissioning. the project had an original goal of LEED Silver.

 

Tasks for commissioning of domestic hot water, HVAC and lighting control systems entailed review and comment of design documents for compliance with Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), development of Commissioning Plan, convening a Construction Commissioning kickoff meeting with all parties involved, field observation of installation progress, development of System Readiness Checklists (SRC) and Functional Performance Tests (FPT), development of systems manual(s) and assemble of documentation for Cx Summary Report. A rooftop solar PV array was designed, installed and commissioned in this project.
